BY THEIR ROTTEN FRUITS… THE COWARDICE AND AND HUBRIS OF NEWPOPE BERGOGLIO

Satanic fruits of Francischurch...

The Cowardice and Hubris of Francis-Bergoglio

By Michael Brendan Dougherty

To universal fanfare from the mainstream and Catholic media, Pope Francis has issued a long-awaited document, Amoris Laetitia, "the Joy of Love," as his conclusion to the Catholic Church's two-year Synod on the Family.

But to this Catholic, the pope's supposedly reformist document is a botch job.

For two years, bishops presented their respective cases for two contradicting views of marriage, re-marriage, and the Church's own sacraments. Pope Francis didn't choose between these two options. He chose them both. The pope did not effect some grand synthesis. He merely gave his imprimatur to the Church's own confused practice on these matters and, more frighteningly, to its self-doubt.

As a result, the Joy of Love reads as an admission that God, as Catholics understand him, really isn't merciful or gracious to poor sinners. So priests should try to do better from now on.

All of this requires some explanation. While the document spends hundreds of pages, some of them quite good, and others quite banal, on the meaning of Christian marriage and family life, the headlines and anxiety all revolve around one topic. The "Great Matter" of the two-year Synod on the Family came down to one question: Can the divorced and re-married receive holy communion without obtaining an annulment or otherwise amending their life?

The Church's traditional reasoning is straightforward. If a valid, sacramental marriage is indissoluble, and someone contracts and lives within a second civil marriage, they are committing the sin of adultery, and doing so publicly. Like anyone in a state of mortal sin — for instance, someone who knowingly missed Sunday Mass through their own fault — they are to exclude themselves from communion, lest they commit a further sin of sacrilege. If they repent of the sin and want to amend their life, they can make a sacramental confession and return.

The German Cardinal Walter Kasper has proposed a way around this — a kind of penitential path in which the remarried person admits some responsibility for their failed first marriage, but persists in the second. For two years, cardinals and bishops lined up on opposing sides of this proposal. Some argued for retaining the Church's traditional understanding and practice. Others pressed for some kind of "pastoral" accommodation to better integrate those who persist in their second marriage into the life of the Church.

Pope Francis sided with all of the above. And he did it not by effecting some greater synthesis, but by cowardly obfuscation.

Pope Francis tries to reframe what Catholics have long understood as the truth about marriage and chastity as merely an ideal, possibly an impossible or oppressive one, if taken too seriously by mere Christians. He pits his concept of mercy against marriage, as if a true understanding of the latter were a threat to the former. Pope Francis reveals himself to be a pope of his times, and embodies the defects of the Church he leads; Amoris Laetitia is characterized by loquacity and evasiveness in trying to dignify and disguise moral cowardice borne from a lack of faith.

Chapter 8 of this heralded document begins by describing the kind of person in an "irregular union" who might be considered for pastoral counseling back toward communion. It describes that person as someone possessed of "humility, discretion, and love for the Church." The question of whether this person has sincere sorrow for sin and a firm purpose to amend their life is side-stepped. Repentance and conversion? How old fashioned. Even the term "irregular union" is evidence of the way the Church is abandoning its understanding of adultery, draining away the moral force of its own teaching, as if marriage were merely a matter of paperwork yet to be amended.

Francis cites well-known Catholic teaching about whether a person is truly and fully culpable for their sins as if it were a new revelation, and then draws reckless conclusions from it, such as in paragraph 301 of chapter 8, where Francis simply announces, "Hence it can no longer simply be said that all those in any 'irregular' situations are living in a state of mortal sin and are deprived of sanctifying grace." One can see how this substitution of "ideals" for commandments works when, in paragraph 303, Pope Francis posits, absurdly, that in some instances the most generous response a person can offer to God's grace is still itself "not fully the objective ideal."

The message is clear: God's grace is insufficient to assist you to do what he asks of you. Jesuits can do better.

Finally, although the pope rejects a formal institution of the Kasper proposal as a general rule, he strongly encourages the readmission of people in "objectively" adulterous unions to holy communion. He doesn't trumpet this, of course. He buries it in the 351st footnote. For a man showing such great audacity before God, Francis certainly isn't bold before men.

Many conservatives are revealing themselves as cowards, too. They hope that because the pope's document seems so confused and self-contradictory, because it hides its innovations under a ton of verbiage, and buried within footnotes, and because it is merely an exhortation and not a more lofty encyclical, that they can embrace what is good in the document, and pass over the rest. "It could have been worse," they are telling themselves. "It cites the Church's teaching against contraception, at least." I would remind them that their forebears said the same thing about the Vatican II's document on the liturgy. "Oh, it says Latin shall be retained, it promotes Gregorian chant," they comforted themselves. As now, the betrayal of the institution was too unthinkable, and they willfully overlooked the footnotes that contained within them a mandate to destroy high altars, tabernacles, altar rails, and institute folk music in a synthetic vernacular liturgy. So too, many conservatives will try to find the good parts, an easy feat in a document so prolix.

But progressives are not so timid. In the talking points handed out to bishops and other spokesmen ahead of the document, the intention was made clear, but plausibly deniable. "Pastors need to do everything possible to help people in these situations to be included in the life of the community." Words like "possible" and "inclusion" are left to be interpreted broadly, from the footnotes. Cardinal Kasper described the document glowingly as a "definite opening." Cardinal Schonborn boldly papered over differences between Pope Francis and Pope John Paul II by describing the work of Francis in Amoris Laetitia as the development of doctrine.

Traditionalist critics of the modern Church have a kind of slogan: Lex Orandi, Lex Credendi, the law of prayer is the law of belief. It's hard not to see how the already incoherent prayer of the Church is leading to incoherent doctrine and practice. The Church officially teaches that confession is necessary to be restored to holy communion after committing a mortal sin, and that receiving communion in a state of sin is itself sacrilege. Yet rare is the pastor who seems troubled by the long lines for communion and the near disappearance of the sacrament of confession among the people in his parish. Everyone just sort of knows the Church doesn't really mean what it says.

The Church's blasé attitude here has a pedagogical effect, teaching people that there is no need to have a holy respect or fear when approaching the altar. Naturally, this attitude has worked its way up the chain to a papal pronouncement. Pope Francis' document justifies people receiving communion in a public state of sin by saying that the Eucharist is "not a prize" for good behavior. That is true. But instead the Church has turned it into a participation trophy, something so perfunctory and ultimately meaningless that it seems just too cruel to deny it to anyone.

Perhaps worse than Pope Francis' official invitation to sacrilege is the document's cowardice, cynicism, and pessimism. The Church can no longer even bring itself to condemn respectable sins such as civilly approved adultery. It can barely bring itself to address a man or woman as if they had a moral conscience that could be roused by words like "sin." Instead, it merely proposes ideals; ideals cannot be wounded by your failure to realize them. And it promises to help you out of your "irregular" situation.

This supposed paean to love is something much sadder. A Church so anxious to include and accept you that it must deny the faith that transforms and renews you. It admits that God's commands are not just beyond our reach, but possibly destructive to follow.

Pope Francis is trying to be more merciful than God himself. He ends up being more miserly and condescending instead.

False Mercy of Francischurch: Amoris Laetitia not a reform of rules, but a reform of the Church!

A heretic speaks…

The Newarchbishop of Chicago welcomed the publication of the Pope's apostolic exhortation

Francischurch newarchbishop Blase Cupich of Chicago welcomed the release of Pope Francis’s apostolic exhortation Amoris Laetitia (The Joy of Love/Sex), saying the document “is not about a reform of rules”, but “about a reform of Church”.

The document is the Pope’s reflection on the 2014 and 2015 meetings of the Synod of Bishops on the family, which addressed all aspects of family life and included contentious discussions about under what circumstances divorced and remarried Catholics could receive Communion.

It does not offer any new rules or norms. Rather, Pope Francis urges careful reflection on ministry to families and, especially, greater consideration in the language and attitude used when working with those who do not fully live Church teaching.

“I think that by and large, the average Catholic is going to find that what the Pope is saying here is very arresting and new and creative and imaginative,” Archbishop Cupich said at a news conference on April 8, the day the document was released at the Vatican.

“He is saying things they haven’t heard before with regard to the Church. For instance, individuals in shaping their conscience take responsibility and nobody can come in and in some way try to replace that conscience.

“He talks about the need for families to be tolerant with each other in situations where people’s lives are not perfect so that we don’t separate ourselves and judge … This is not about a reform of rules. This is about a reform of Church,” the archbishop added.

Archbishop Cupich said that he intends to study the document with lay and ordained advisers, and the Chicago Archdiocese will look at the ways it ministers to families, perhaps by extending marriage preparation into the first year of marriage or finding new ways to support parents as they welcome children.

Whatever the Church does must be done with mercy, he said.

“The doctrine of the Church has always been one of mercy and compassion and the Pope is recovering that in a much stronger and forceful way. It is a part of the doctrine of the Church to reach out with compassion to people,” he said.
The archbishop acknowledged that some might rather have a clear set of rules to follow, something Pope Francis addressed as well.

“He knows that this call for a more compassionate pastoral outreach of accompaniment, discernment and integration, one marked by tenderness, will leave some perplexed,” the archbishop said.

Archbishop Cupich rejected the idea that meeting people in the midst of the complexities of their lives means a “slippery slope” to a change in Church teaching.

“It is not a slippery slope but a path forward for people who find themselves stuck,” he said. The document calls on pastors to help people who can’t find that way now, he said.

“A healthy dose of criticism is in order for us pastors, in the way that we treat people and the way that we present the Church’s teaching,” the archbishop told members of the media. “Too often, he says, we speak in a way that is far too abstract, presenting an almost artificial theological ideal of marriage far removed from the concrete situations and the practical possibilities of real families.”

Archbishop Cupich said the document calls on the Church and its pastors to walk with people as they discern the best way forward and to seek to integrate them into the Church, and he added that Pope Francis reminds pastors that “we have been called … to form consciences, not to replace them.”

Priests must help people understand the teaching of the Church and the guidelines of the bishops when it comes to divorce and remarriage, he said.

“It can no longer be said, according to Pope Francis, that all those living in an ‘irregular situation’ are living in a state of mortal sin and are deprived of sanctifying grace,” Archbishop Cupich said.

No one can be condemned forever said No Catholic Ever!!

‘No one can be condemned forever, because that is not the logic of the Gospel!’ the Pope insists,” he said. “The goal of accompanying people is to help each person find ‘his or her proper way of participating in the ecclesial community and thus to experience being touched by an ‘unmerited, unconditional and gratuitous’ mercy.’ He is not speaking here only of ‘the divorced and remarried, but of everyone, in whatever situation they find themselves.'”

Asked in what specific situations he would allow a divorced and remarried person to receive Communion, Archbishop Cupich refused to rule anyone out!

“I wouldn’t exclude anyone,” he said. “I would like our pastors to have discussion in all of those folks who are in these kinds of situations. … I know in my experience as a pastor, if you’ve seen a marriage then you’ve seen one marriage. There is no instance that can be replicated. Every situation has its variables that are part of it.”

The archbishop said he was impressed with the Pope’s crisp, accessible writing style, and the way he draws on varied literary and cultural sources to connect with his audience.

“He’s got an intuition about where people live their actual lives,” the archbishop said “He’s not living in a bubble.”

Enemy Within Francis-Bergoglio Relaxes Church Rules On Divorce!!

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Pope Francis on Friday called for a Church that was less strict and more compassionate towards “imperfect” Catholics, such as those who divorced and remarried, saying “no one can be condemned forever”.
Francis said gays should be respected but firmly re-stated the Church’s position that there are “absolutely no grounds” to equate gay unions to heterosexual marriage.
In a 260-page treatise called “Amoris Laetitia,” (The Joy of Love), one of the most eagerly awaited pronouncements of his pontificate, Francis quoted Martin Luther King, Argentine Poet Jorge Luis Borges and even the 1987 Danish cult film Babette’s Feast, to make his case for a more merciful and loving Church.
The keenest anticipation centered on what he would say about the full re-integration into the Church of Catholics who divorce and remarry in civil ceremonies.
Under current Church teaching they cannot receive communion unless they abstain from sex with their new partner, because their first marriage is still valid in the eyes of the Church and they are seen to be living in an adulterous state of sin.
The only way such Catholics can remarry is if they receive an annulment, a religious ruling that their first marriage never existed because of the lack of certain pre-requisites such as psychological maturity or free will.

No one can be condemned forever...
Absolute heresy: No one is condemned forever, because that is not the logic of the Gospel! Anti-Catholic pope is guided not by God but the evil one! We were warned about abusing God's Divine Mercy.
            God is Not Mocked!
God is merciful. Behold the third delusion of sinners!
By which an immense number are lost! The mercy of God sends more souls to hell than his justice; for sinners are induced, by a rash confidence in the divine mercy, to continue in sin and thus are lost. God is merciful. Who denies it? But great as is his mercy, how many does he send to hell every day? God is merciful: but he is also just; and therefore he is obliged to punish those who offend him. He shows mercy; but to whom? To them who fear him. He hath strengthened His mercy toward them that fear Him. As a father hath compassion on his children, so hath the Lord compassion on them that fear Him (Ps. cii, 11, 13). But he executes justice on those who despise him, and abuse his mercy to insult him the more. God pardons sin; but he cannot pardon the will or the determination to sin.
                  St. Alphonsus Liguori
Moral Theologian and Doctor of the Church

“No one can be condemned forever, because that is not the logic of the Gospel! Here I am not speaking only of the divorced and remarried, but of everyone, in whatever situation they find themselves,” the pope said.
COMMUNION BAN

Progressives have proposed the use of an “internal forum” in which a priest or bishop work with a Catholic who has divorced and remarried to decide jointly, privately and on a case-by-case basis if he or she can be fully re-integrated and receive communion.

Francis seemed to embrace this view, saying he could “not provide a new set of general rules ... applicable to all cases”, but he called for “responsible, personal and pastoral discernment of particular cases”.

Father James Bretzke, professor of moral theology at Boston College, said while Francis did not explicitly give a green light for remarried Catholics to return to communion, “the dots are pretty close together, you can connect them reasonably easily and conclude that he is saying this is a possibility.

“If he’s not opening the door, he is at least showing you where the key under the mat is.”

In other sections, Francis said young people had to be better prepared for a life-long commitment, praised the “erotic dimension” of love within marriage and said the Church needed a “healthy dose of self-criticism” for in the past preaching that procreation was the “almost exclusive” reason for marriage.  (Another Truth Vatican II dismantled).  And Just like the bogus Novus Order new mass, marriage has become for the most part, Man self-centered rather than God-Centered and ultimately the reason why many end in divorce. Bergoglio as usual criticizes the traditional Sacrament of holy matrimony, he chooses to speak of Erotic sex and the 'pursuit of pleasure' between couples as 'gift from God', and gives a Unhealthy dose of  criticism in regards to procreation which tickles the ears of his youthful Newchurch audience.

Pope Francis rejects calls for Catholic Church to approve gay marriage but softens stance on cohabiting and divorced couples in 260-page 'Joy of Love' report on family

Pope Francis has rejected liberal calls to accept gay unions in a new set of guidelines on love, marriage and the family which are expected to become one of the defining moments of his tenure.
In his 260-page text titled 'The Joy of Love', released today, he has denied hopes for the Church's blessing of gay marriage or civil unions.
Not only will the new document define the 79-year-old's legacy, but also provide a new foundation for teachings given to the world's 1.2billion Catholics.

While not unexpected, no changes his stance on gay marriage will come as a disappointment for Catholics who had been encouraged to hope for real change by Francis's famous 'Who am I to judge?' remark about homosexuality early in his papacy.
In the absence of any new language on gay believers, official Church teaching defaults to the controversial formula that same-sex relationships are 'intrinsically disordered'.

The area in which the missive arguably signals the biggest change is in its recognition of the values embodied in the relationships of people once severely condemned as 'living in sin'.

Officially referred to as an 'apostolic exhortation', the massive text targets a huge swathe of issues related to family life.

He says that individual conscience should be the guiding principle for Catholics negotiating the complexities of sex, marriage and family life.

SINCE WHEN DID IT BECOME PERMISSIBLE TO LEAVE SINNERS WHERE THEY ARE AT AND NOT ADMONISH THEIR EVIL DEEDS??? BERGOGLIO AND HIS FALSE PRELATES HAVE THE MORAL RESPONSIBILITY TO WARN THE FAITHFUL OF THE GRAVE PERIL THEIR SOUL ARE IN...NOT ENCOURAGE THE SINNERS OR MAKE EXCUSES FOR THEIR SINFUL BEHAVIOR/LIFESTYLE WHICH ONLY LEADS SOULS INTO HELL...

BERGOGLIO AND HIS FALSE PRELATES ARE OBLIGATED AND HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY TO ADMONISH SINNERS. NOT ENCOURAGE SINNERS OR MAKE EXCUSES FOR THEIR SINFUL BEHAVIOR/LIFESTYLE WHICH ONLY LEADS SOULS INTO HELL...

However, it also rejects the Church's emphasis on inflexible black and white rules for its faithful.

He makes no change in church doctrine, but in selectively citing his predecessors and emphasizing HIS OWN teachings, he makes clear that he wants a revolution in the way priests accompany Catholics.

He says the church must no longer sit in judgment and 'throw stones' against those who fail to live up to the Gospel's ideals of marriage and family life.

He said: 'We have been called to form consciences, not replace to them. I understand those who prefer a more rigorous pastoral care which leaves no room for confusion.

'But I sincerely believe that Jesus wants a church attentive to the goodness which the Holy Spirit sows in the midst of human weakness.'

'THE JOY OF LOVE': KEY POINTS FROM POPE FRANCIS'S DEFINING TEXT

HOMOSEXUALITY:Francis slaps down proposals to place gay unions on the same level as marriage, saying bishops found 'there are absolutely no grounds for considering homosexual unions to be in any way similar or even remotely analogous to God's plan for marriage and family'.

He offered sympathy to those families with gay relatives, 'a situation not easy for parents or for children', and said the Church must avoid 'every sign of unjust discrimination' towards homosexuals.

COHABITATION: Francis says couples who live together outside of marriage 'need to be welcomed and guided, patiently and discreetly', and the choice to cohabit may be based on external factors such as financial difficulties or cultural situations!!

REMARRIED DIVORCED PEOPLE: 'They are not excommunicated and should not be treated as such', and should be made to feel part of the Church 'while avoiding any occasion of scandal'. The pope says the Christian community caring for such people 'is not to be considered a weakening of its faith' but a sign of 'its charity'.

BROKEN MARRIAGES:Pastors should judge situations on a case-by-case basis: 'we know that no "easy recipes" exist'.

CHILDREN: Offspring should be taught to say 'please', 'thank you' and 'sorry, they should be punished for misbehaviour, cured of the vice of 'wanting it all now' and prevented from watching television programmes which undercut family values.

CHURCH SELF-CRITICISM: 'We need a healthy dose of self-criticism', said the pope, admitting that until now the Church has 'proposed a far too abstract and almost artificial theological ideal of marriage' and struggles to present marriage as more than 'a lifelong burden'.
CONTRACEPTION: The Church sanctioned family planning method of abstaining from sex should be 'promoted' - not that other methods are forbidden - and children must receive sex education, albeit without focusing on 'safe sex'.
On thorny issues such as contraception, he stressed that a couple's individual conscience - not dogmatic rules imposed across the board - must guide their decisions and the church's pastoral practice.
He insisted the church's aim is to reintegrate and welcome all its members. He called for a new language to help Catholic families cope with today's problems, and said pastors must take into account mitigating factors - fear, ignorance, habits and duress - in counselling Catholics who are not perfect.
'It can no longer simply be said that all those in any irregular situations are living in a state of mortal sin and are deprived of sanctifying grace,' he wrote.

Even those in an 'objective situation of sin' can be in a state of grace, and can even be more pleasing to God by trying to improve, he said.

The document's release marks the culmination of a divisive two-year consultation of ordinary Catholics and the church hierarchy that Francis initiated in hopes of understanding the problems facing Catholic families today and providing them with better pastoral care.
The most divisive issue was whether Francis would loosen the Vatican's strict position on whether Catholics who divorce and remarry can receive Communion.

Church teaching holds that unless these Catholics receive an annulment, or a church decree that their first marriage was invalid, they are committing adultery and cannot receive Communion.

Francis's image as a progressive Pope had many liberals hoping he would announce changes to the Church's stance on homosexuality. They are likely to be disappointed in his decision to maintain the status quo
Francis's image as a progressive Pope had many liberals hoping he would announce changes to the Church's stance on homosexuality. They are likely to be disappointed in his decision to maintain the status quo

Conservatives had insisted the rules were fixed and there was no way around Christ's teaching on marriage. Progressives had sought to balance doctrine with mercy and look at each couple on a case-by-case basis, accompanying them on a path of reconciliation that could lead to them eventually receiving the sacraments.
Francis took a unilateral step last year in changing church law to make it easier to get an annulment.
Today he said the rigorous response proposed by the conservatives was inconsistent with Jesus's message of mercy.
'By thinking that everything is black and white, we sometimes close off the way of grace and of growth and discourage paths of sanctification which give glory to God.
'Let us remember that a small step in the midst of great human limitations can be more pleasing to God than a life which appears outwardly in order but moves through the day without confronting great difficulties.'
Francis did not endorse the 'penitential path' of bringing such civilly remarried Catholics to Communion that was advocated by leading progressives such as Cardinal Walter Kasper.
But he repeated what the synod had endorsed the need for pastors to help individual Catholics over the course of spiritual direction to ascertain what God is asking of them.

And he went further by explicitly linking such discussions of conscience with having access to the sacraments.
In footnotes, Francis cited his previous document The Joy Of The Gospel in saying that the Eucharist 'is not a prize for the perfect but a powerful medicine and nourishment for the weak'.
While Francis frequently cited John Paul, whose papacy was characterised by a hardline insistence on doctrine and sexual morals, he did so selectively.
Francis referenced certain parts of John Paul's 1981 Familius Consortio, the guiding Vatican document on family life until Friday, but he omitted any reference to its divisive paragraph 83, which explicitly forbids the sacraments for the divorced and civilly remarried.
In fact, Francis went further than mere omission and squarely rejected John Paul's call in that document for people in civil second marriages to live as brother and sister, abstaining from sex so they can still receive the sacraments.

In a footnote, Francis said many people offered such a solution by the church 'point out that if certain expressions of intimacy are lacking it often happens that faithfulness is endangered and the good of children suffer'.
Similarly, in discussing the need for 'responsible parenthood' and regulating the number of children, Francis made no mention of the church's opposition to artificial contraception. He squarely rejected abortion as 'horrendous' and cited the 1968 encyclical Humanae Vitae, which deals with the issue.

But Francis made no mention of the 'unlawful birth control methods' rejected in Humanae Vitae. Instead he focused on the need for couples in their conscience to make decisions about their family size.

He also condemned at length the 'verbal, physical and sexual violence' many women endure in marriages, rejects 'sexual submission' and the 'reprehensible' practice of genital mutilation.

And he says the belief that feminism is to blame for the crisis in families today is completely invalid.

WILL NEWPOPE FRANCIS-BERGOGLIO AND HIS NEWCHURCHERS BE LEFT STANDING IN A PILE OF MUCK??

WARSAW, Poland — A leaked report says the site for Pope Francis' July meeting with world youth in southern Poland poses a "high risk for the life and health of people."

Released Monday by TVN24 television, the report from the Government Center for Security reportedly says the planned site for the World Youth Day Mass on July 31 lacks proper access and evacuation routes, a major power line runs nearby and a leak in the nearby dikes on the Vistula River could pose a threat. A rain could turn the site into a swamp and no sufficient medical support has been planned, the document reportedly said.

TVN24 said the report was directed to the head of Prime Minister Beata Szydlo's office. Szydlo said the report will be used for improving the security of an event expected to attract some 2 million young people.

Bishop Damina Muskus, who coordinates preparations for the event, said the report doesn't account for recent work, and organizers are not looking for another site.

"We must do everything to make this site 100 percent safe for the participants and for the pope. Such solutions exist," Muskus said.

Preparations have started with paths being built and irrigation works underway. Muskus said part of the power line will be off during the event.

             NEWWORLD POPE BERGOGLIO…

Young people from around the world are expected for the World Youth Day — actually a full week from July 25-July 31 — in and around the southern city of Krakow.

Francis is to join on July 27 and participate in prayers, a procession and a night vigil. He will also visit the Jasna Gora sanctuary in Czestochowa and the memorial of the Auschwitz Nazi death camp.

             Archbishop’s Legacy – II

Structure, or none? The Faith is where?
Wherever it is, I must go there!

In 2012 the Archbishop’s successors at the head of his Society of St Pius X, having failed to understand his fundamental putting of Catholic Truth before Catholic Authority, claimed falsely to be following his example when at the Society’s General Chapter of that summer they prepared to put Truth back under Authority by opening the door to some political and non-doctrinal agreement with the liars of Rome – “Catholicism is Revolutionary” is a monstrous lie. For years now these successors have been spreading rumours that the agreement is imminent, but Rome has them where it wants them, by their own fault, and risks continuing to extract concessions such as, possibly, the disastrous interview of March 2 granted by the Superior General to a professional predator. Conciliar Rome never forgets what the SSPX seems no longer to want to remember – Catholic Tradition and Vatican II are absolutely irreconcilable.

However, the Archbishop has disciples who have not forgotten this. They are going under the name of the “Resistance,” which is a movement rather than an organization, as is only logical. Clinging to Truth against the false Authority both of Rome and now of the SSPX, any internal authority amongst them can at best be supplied, i.e. an abnormal authority supplied invisibly by the Church in case of emergency for the salvation of souls. But such authority, by the invisibility of its transmission (contrast the visible ceremonies by which many kinds of authority amongst men are transmitted), is that much weaker and more contestable than normal authority in the Church, which descends always, ultimately, from the Pope. Therefore the “Resistance” has the strength of Truth but a weakness of Authority normally essential to protect Catholic Truth.

Surely resistant Catholics, inside or outside of Tradition, have to take into account the many consequences of this split between Truth and Authority, imposed by Vatican II on the entire Church. God’s Supreme Shepherd being supremely struck by Conciliar folly, how can God’s sheep not be supremely scattered (cf. Zach. XIII, 7: Mt. XXVI, 31)? Not to be suffering, Catholics would have to not belong to the Catholic Church. Is that what they want? Then Catholics for the time being should be neither surprised by betrayals nor disappointed by divisions. The Devil is being given for the moment almost a free hand to cause divisions (“diabolein” in Greek), and when Catholics are all fighting for eternal salvation the divisions are frequently bitter. Patience.

Next, from Conciliar Popes there can no longer be the lifeblood of true Catholic Authority flowing down into Catholic institutions, and so Catholic persons can no longer depend upon Catholic institutions like they should normally be able to do. Rather, any such institutions have to depend for Truth upon the persons, as we have seen the SSPX depending on Archbishop Lefebvre . But persons without institutional backing or control are always liable to be fallible, and so it seems unwise to expect that any grouping of Catholics today for Truth is going to attract large numbers. Catholics may naturally long for structure, hierarchy, Superiors and obedience, but these cannot be fabricated out of thin air. Surely remnants are the order of the day. Patience.

In conclusion, Catholics striving to keep the Faith must take their well-deserved punishment, renounce all human illusions and fabrications, and beg in prayer for Almighty God to intervene. When enough souls turn to him for his solution instead of theirs, they will recognize that his Providence provided it for them in the form of the Devotion of the First Saturdays of the month, to make reparation to his Mother. For when enough reparation is made, then he will give to his Vicar on earth the grace to Consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart, and then order begins to be restored, as he has promised.
For the practice of that Devotion, do not miss next week’s “Comments.”

Kyrie eleison.

Newrome Pope Bergoglio meets traditionalist Society of St. Pius X leader, who seeks 'full communion' definition!!

Superior General, Bishop Fellay ‘the Traitor’ of the Neo- SSPX.

QUO VADIS BISHOP FELLAY???

Bergoglio meets traditionalist Society of St. Pius X leader, who seeks 'full communion' definition!!

Pope Francis has met with the leader of a traditionalist group of Catholic bishops and priests who have been separated from the wider church for decades in opposition to the reforms of the Second Vatican Council, the Vatican has confirmed.
The pontiff met Saturday with Bishop Bernard Fellay, the Superior General of the Society of St. Pius X, Vatican press office deputy director Gregory Burke told journalists Monday.

       Archbishop Lefebvre ora pro nobis!

Founded by the late French Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre in 1970, the Society widely rejects the teachings of the Council, a 1962-65 gathering of the world’s Catholic bishops that led to large reforms in the church’s liturgy and its stance towards the world.

Pope Benedict XVI had sought to repair relations with the group, lifting the excommunications of four of their bishops in 2009. Those efforts ultimately failed when Fellay rejected a doctrinal statement drafted by the Vatican for the group to sign.

In a recent interview posted on the Society’s website, Fellay said he thinks Francis may consider his group as existing on the “periphery” and thus needing to be accompanied back to the church.

Bergoglio uses the expression ‘walk forward’ with people on the periphery, hoping to manage to improve things,” said Fellay. “Therefore it is not a fixed decision to succeed immediately: a development, a walk, goes wherever it goes.”

“It is clear that Pope Francis wants to let us live and survive,” the bishop continued. “He even said to anyone who cares to listen that he would never do the Society any harm.”
I beg to differ! Just look at the state of Newchurch today! Newchurch is anything but Catholic which might explain why Newchurchers are leaving in droves!

Francis had indicated a move toward unity between the wider church and the traditionalist society with the opening of the ongoing Jubilee year of mercy last fall.

In a September letter to the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the New Evangelization, which is organizing the holy year on his behalf, he explained that members of the society would be granted faculties during the year to offer absolution of sins "validly and licitly" to those who approach them for confession.

"This Jubilee Year of Mercy excludes no one,” the pontiff said then. "I trust that in the near future solutions may be found to recover full communion with the priests and superiors of the Fraternity.”

In his recent interview, Fellay said he and the society were seeking to have “a clear definition sometime of this term ‘full communion.’”

Italian newspaper Il Foglio cited sources who said the meeting between Francis and Fellay Saturday “was positive” and that the “understanding is good” between the two leaders.

Outside of the faculties granted during the Jubilee year, members of the traditionalist Society are considered not to be in full communion with Rome and, in normal circumstances, its priests and bishops cannot exercise Roman Catholic ministry.

Bishop Fellay the traitor strikes again
