The head of Lugansk’s Police Service, Anatoly Naumenko, who was appointed to this post at the end of April, has advised police officer’s family’s to leave the city. He believes that a siege could take place with tanks and artillery, according to RIA Novosti.
Over the last few days Ukrainian law enforcements have conducted large scale operations in the South East of Ukraine to try and regain control of the region. There have already been casualties of this assault, with members of the ultra-nationalist Right Sector and Ukrainian soldiers dead.
