As readers of Call Me Jorge… know, today Francis made his private visit to the Pentecostal Church of Caserta known officially as the Evangelical Church of Reconciliation. Interestingly the pastor, Giovanni Traettino when he is not being a minister works full time in his family’s cement/contracting/construction business. We bring this up because the Evangelical Church of Reconciliation is still in the less than half finished state of being built as one can see from the photos we have posted.
Turns out Francis was to visit his Evangelical friends this past Saturday. This was changed to Monday because the local Bishop told Francis over the phone what bad press it would make, if Francis visited the Evangelicals on the Feast of St. Anne. Francis replied to the Bishop,
So he changed the day to Monday and to placate the Catholics who were very upset at being snubbed, decided to visit them on St. Anne’s Feast instead. Are you kidding us? He doesn’t even know what the proper Feast Day is? Does he even celebrate the Novus Ordo Missae if the cameras are not there? What religion is this man practicing?
