Muslims Blow Up The Tomb Of Jonah, But Under It Is Discovered An Ancient Church From The 4th Century!!
The Muslims built a house of heresy over a house of holiness, dedicated to the prophet Jonah, and now, that the Mosque is destroyed, the church still stands upon the strongest rock, not the temporal kind, but that Rock of Ages. The Church still stands, for “the gates of hades shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:13)
Archeological researcher Sa’dallah Hamid detected a rare find after the ISIS destroyed the Tomb of Jonah, which rests in what was known the Mosque of Jonah in Nineveh. After the structure was blown up from the surface what was discovered below The Mosque of Jonah was a church originally called “The Monastery of Jonah” dating back from the fourth century Christian Syriac denomination. It is said that the church contains a piece of Noah’s Ark. Beneath were hidden gates bearing the words written in Syriac script.
Some of the mosques in the city of Mosul (ancient Nineveh) originally were either churches or monasteries belonging to the Assyrian or Chaldean or Syriac. In the case of The Monastery of Jonah it was closed to Christians in 1902.
Syriac was the official language of that era, and it is the language of writing and reading. Even the word Quran itself is a Syriac word and not Arabic which means “prayer book”. There are lots of Quranic words that are not Arabic. When Muslims say that Allah is Ahad (one) it is not Arabic but Syriac. Even the oldest copies of the Koran were written using the Syriac lettering like Koran Hafs in Mecca and even the Koran Hussein in Cairo.
From death comes victory, from destruction comes harmony, from violence comes peace, from persecution comes strength.
Golgotha was a pinnacle of blood, but in a measurement of time that was eclipsed by eternity, soon did that dismal hill transform into an ascension of triumph, that touched the Heavens and shook the earth; that struck modest with awe, and the wicked with terror, and that split the houses of the corrupt in two.

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. (Philippians 1:21)
